.tz domain names available for registration

From now on, the Tanzanian registry allows registrations directly under the .tz extension. Until now, only third level registrations were possible under .tz (.co.tz, .or,.tz,…).

The release of the .tz domain takes place in several phases:

Sunrise: from March 1, 2022 to May 31, 2022
Anyone who already has a third level .tz domain name can register the exact same name under the .tz domain.

Landrush: from June 1, 2022 to June 30, 2022
Anyone who registered a third level .tz domain between March 1, 2022 and May 31, 2022 can register the exact same name under .tz.

General availability: from July 1, 2022
Anyone who wishes to do so can register a name under the .tz domain.
You can already pre-register a .tz domain name via bNamed.net.

During the sunrise and the landrush, the requested .tz domain names will be granted at the end of the period. From general availability, the first come, first served principle is applied.
