Until April 30rd, Afilias (.info registry) accepts applications for 1 and 2 character .info domain names. If you wish to file an application for such a domain name, there are several things you need to take into account.

If you file an application, you’ll also need to provide a complete business- and marketing plan. Via those plans you’ll need to make clear how you want to promote the .info domain name via your 1 or 2 character .info name. It’s very important you’ll indicate who you’ll create brand awareness for .info.

Moreover you’ll also need to take into account that you’ll need to pay a non-refundable fee of $1.000. If the registry doesn’t approve your application, this amount will be lost.
