New extensions: .boo, .rsvp and .giving

It’s been a while ago but 3 new extensions have been released: .boo, .rsvp and .giving.

With a domain name under the .boo extension you can go in different directions. Have you set up a fun Halloween promotion? Or are you just crazy about Halloween and do you make the creepiest outfits or the tastiest Halloween recipes? Then a .boo domain name is a fun way to put this in the spotlight.
Or do you just want to go in a completely different direction and are you crazy about someone? Even then you can register a .boo domain name to make this clear to everyone.

A .rsvp domain name can help you to prepare your party or event even better. Are you throwing a party? Are you organizing an event? Are you getting married? Then a domain name under the .rsvp extension can be quite handy. A fun way to ask your invitees whether or not they will be attending. This way you coordinate everything just a little better and your party or event will already be unforgettable!

With a domain name under the .giving extension you show that you care. Are you committed to helping others? Are you organizing a charity event or a benefit? Are you raising money for a good cause? All good reasons to register a .giving domain name.

The release of these new extensions happens in several phases. The first phase is always the sunrise.
For .boo and .rsvp the sunrise will start on October 4, for .giving it will start on October 13. During the sunrise, only holders of a registered trademark can register their name under these extensions.

The sunrise for .boo and .rsvp ends on November 7 and is followed by an Early Access Period (EAP). During the EAP, anyone who wishes can register a name for a higher price. Every day the price will drop slightly.
The Go Live will start on November 15 and from then on anyone who wishes can register a .boo domain name. Registering a .rsvp domain name is also possible for everyone from November 15 onwards.

For .giving domain names, the sunrise ends on December 13. The sunrise will be followed by a landrush. This will start on December 20. During the landrush, anyone who wishes can register a .giving domain name on the condition that you promise to consider using the (free) services of justgiving.com. However, you don’t have to sign up with them.
On January 20, 2023, the Go Live for the .giving domain will start and anyone can register a name under the .giving extension without additional conditions.

Of course it is already possible to pre-register a .boo, .rsvp or .giving name.
