Release sunriseB .xxx domain names

When the .xxx domain was released in 2011, a so-called sunriseB was created. During this sunrise you could block your name under .xxx. By blocking this name, no one else could register these names.

However, this will soon come to an end. From May 22, 2023, all sunriseB .xxx names will be available for registration again. If you own a .xxx domain name registered during sunriseB and you don’t want anyone else to run off with it, now is the time to take action.

There are 2 different options to still protect your .xxx name:

1) Verified Rights Phase: from March 16, 2023 to May 18, 2023
During this phase, as the owner of a .xxx name that was registered during sunriseB, you get priority to register your name under .xxx. The registrar where you originally blocked your name has received a unique code linked to your name with which the name can be registered.
This phase will end on May 18, 2023. From May 22, 2023, all sunriseB .xxx names that were not registered during this phase will be available for registration again.

2) AdultBlock and AdultBlock+
It was originally intended that sunriseB .xxx names would be blocked for a period of 10 years, until the end of December 2021. This period could not normally be extended. But given the global pandemic, things turned out a little differently.
Nevertheless, the registry already created 2 other blocks in 2021: the AdultBlock and the AdultBlock+

The AdultBlock allows you to protect your name under .xxx, .porn, .sex and .adult.
The AdultBlock+ goes a bit further and gives you the option to protect your name and many variants under .xxx, .porn, .sex and .adult.

So if you wish to protect your name even longer, it is up to you to choose how you wish to do this. You can register your name under .xxx during the Verified Right Phase or you can activate an AdultBlock or AdultBlock+.

Please note that if you do nothing, your name will become available for registration again from May 22, 2023. In addition, you also take the risk that your name will be considered a premium name by the registry from May 22, 2023, meaning the price will be significantly higher than if you registered your name during the Verified Rights Phase.
