DNS.PT wants data quality in Whois

DNS.PT (the .pt-registry) would like a qualitative Whois. So they want the data which are linked to .pt domain names are correct. That’s why they’ll start verifying the Whois-information at the beginning of June.  The registry will carefully check the owner information which is linked to a .pt domain name. For all names for which the information is invalid or incomplete, the owner of the domain name will receive an email asking him to complete or update the data.

Until now the registry hasn’t yet communicated about possible consequences for owners of .pt names who’ll ignore this question.
