Get your domain name

Go global with .global

globalkleinIf you or your organisation already have a global customer base or intend to eventually expand beyond the local community, a .global domain name might be a first step in the right direction.

You could already register your domain name to cover a certain country (.be, .de, .fr,…) or region (.eu, .us,…). If you wanted you were a global player you could register a .com or .net name. But with the .global extension this is about to change.

Most new domain extensions which were released during the past 2 years are commonly used industry terms or names of product and service categories. There are also a few extensions to cover a specific region (.amsterdam, .paris,…).

However if you want to make clear you offer your products and services worldwide .global might be perfect for you. The right global geographical domain can be a good alternative for .com or .net or a nice solution if your name isn’t available anymore under those extensions. A main global website may also be used as a directory, making it easier for visitors to get an overview and to ultimately navigate their way to the country or product specific content.
