.hr now available for all European companies

Until recently, a .hr domain name registration was only possible for Croatian companies (with a maximum of 10 domain names per company). This rule has now been relaxed, to include all VAT-liable European companies. There however still is a limit of 10 domain names maximum per company. No further special restriction apply, so any available domain name can be registered.

Many companies from outside of Croatia used a .com.hr domain name for their website intended for clients in Croatia. We expect many of them to switch to a .hr website for this, even though the .hr pricetag still is much higher then for .com.hr and most other TLD’s.
