Shortly after the .nl-registry revealed that one of their systems had been hacked into and sensitive information might have been stolen, dns.be also released information about a hack on their website.According to the information released by the .be-registry, the hacker should however not have been able to access any passwords or critical systems used for domain name registrations. Only the informational dns.be website itself had been compromised. There currently isn’t more information available on how this exactly was possible or which damage the hacker did make. The hacker was able to replace the header of a webpage of the registry, by picture with a Turkish text in it.
