5 September first new gTLD launch

ICANN just released actual dates for when they expect the first new gTLD’s to launch. The first TLD’s should be put in the root zones September 5’th 2013. From then on, it will however still take a month before the first sunrises actually start.

Do keep in mind that the first TLD’s will all be IDN TLD’s. So those are the extensions in for example Cyrillic or Chinese script.
