{"id":827,"date":"2011-02-11T16:13:27","date_gmt":"2011-02-11T14:13:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tld.sc\/en\/?p=827"},"modified":"2020-01-13T11:01:10","modified_gmt":"2020-01-13T09:01:10","slug":"new-extensions-coming-up","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bnamed.blog\/en\/2011\/02\/new-extensions-coming-up\/","title":{"rendered":"New extensions coming up"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tld.sc\/files\/images\/vlagnlantklein.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"100\" height=\"60\" \/>Recently 3 new country codes (ccTLD&#8217;s)\u00a0 were created to represent the new nations created by the breakup of the Netherlands  Antilles in October 2010.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->The new ccTLDs are:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; .BQ, designated for Bonaire<br \/>\n&#8211; .CW, designated for Cura\u00e7ao<br \/>\n&#8211; .SX, designated for Sint Maarten<\/p>\n<p>At the moment, those 3 new extensions aren&#8217;t yet delegated, so registrations under those new domains aren&#8217;t yet possible. Moreover the governments of the  respective nations still need to arrange some things before registrations under those new extensions can begin.<\/p>\n<p>Which rules will apply for registrations under those extensions isn&#8217;t clear yet either.
