Yesterday, January 6th 2010, the registry has decided they&#8217;ll no longer accept new .cn registrations from foreign registrars.<\/span><span style=\"background-color: #ffffff;\" title=\"De registry heeft immers beslist vanaf gisteren, 6\/1\/2010, nieuwe registraties door buitenlandse registrars niet langer toe te staan.\" onmouseover=\"this.style.backgroundColor='#ebeff9'\" onmouseout=\"this.style.backgroundColor='#fff'\"> <\/span><span style=\"background-color: #ffffff;\" title=\"Bestaande registraties kunnen nog wel zonder problemen verlengd worden maar nieuwe registraties zijn dus niet langer mogelijk.\" onmouseover=\"this.style.backgroundColor='#ebeff9'\" onmouseout=\"this.style.backgroundColor='#fff'\">Existing registrations can still easily be extended but new registrations are no longer possible.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"background-color: #ffffff;\" title=\"De reden voor deze drastische beslissing zijn de moeilijkheden die opduiken bij nieuwe registraties.\" onmouseover=\"this.style.backgroundColor='#ebeff9'\" onmouseout=\"this.style.backgroundColor='#fff'\">The reason for this drastic decision, are the difficulties that come up with new registrations. <\/span><span style=\"background-color: #ffffff;\" title=\"Enkele weken geleden postten we reeds een artikel over het feit dat de .cn registry zijn beleid ten aanzien van nieuwe registraties aanzienlijk verstrengd heeft.\" onmouseover=\"this.style.backgroundColor='#ebeff9'\" onmouseout=\"this.style.backgroundColor='#fff'\">A few weeks ago we already posted <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tld.sc\/en\/2009\/12\/new-rules-cn-registrations\/\" target=\"_blank\">an article<\/a> about the fact that the. cn registry\u00a0 has tightened <\/span><span id=\"result_box\" class=\"long_text\"><span style=\"background-color: #ffffff;\" title=\"Enkele weken geleden postten we reeds een artikel over het feit dat de .cn registry zijn beleid ten aanzien van nieuwe registraties aanzienlijk verstrengd heeft.\" onmouseover=\"this.style.backgroundColor='#ebeff9'\" onmouseout=\"this.style.backgroundColor='#fff'\">its policy of new registrations <\/span><\/span><span id=\"result_box\" class=\"long_text\"><span style=\"background-color: #ffffff;\" title=\"Enkele weken geleden postten we reeds een artikel over het feit dat de .cn registry zijn beleid ten aanzien van nieuwe registraties aanzienlijk verstrengd heeft.\" onmouseover=\"this.style.backgroundColor='#ebeff9'\" onmouseout=\"this.style.backgroundColor='#fff'\">considerably. <\/span><span title=\"Enkel bedrijven konden nog een .cn naam registreren en hiervoor was papierwerk vereist.\" onmouseover=\"this.style.backgroundColor='#ebeff9'\" onmouseout=\"this.style.backgroundColor='#fff'\">Only companies could register a new .cn name and paperwork was required. <\/span><span style=\"background-color: #ffffff;\" title=\"Dit leidt blijkbaar tot onverwachte moeilijkheden voor registraties van buitenlandse registrars.\" onmouseover=\"this.style.backgroundColor='#ebeff9'\" onmouseout=\"this.style.backgroundColor='#fff'\">This apparently leads to unexpected difficulties for registration of foreign registrars.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"background-color: #ffffff;\" title=\"De Chinese registry liet echter ook weten dat deze 'registratiestop' voor buitenlandse registrars slechts tijdelijk is.\" onmouseover=\"this.style.backgroundColor='#ebeff9'\" onmouseout=\"this.style.backgroundColor='#fff'\">The Chinese registry also told that this &#8216;registration stop&#8217; for foreign registrars is only temporary. <\/span><span style=\"background-color: #ffffff;\" title=\"Wanneer deze 'stop' zou worden opgeheven, is echter niet geweten.\" onmouseover=\"this.style.backgroundColor='#ebeff9'\" onmouseout=\"this.style.backgroundColor='#fff'\">When these &#8216;stop&#8217; will be lifted, is not known. <\/span><span style=\"background-color: #ffffff;\" title=\"De registry zoekt nu naar methodes waarmee ze het vereiste papierwerk voor .cn registraties uit het buitenland kunnen verifi\u00ebren.\" onmouseover=\"this.style.backgroundColor='#ebeff9'\" onmouseout=\"this.style.backgroundColor='#fff'\">The registry is now looking for methods with which they can verify the required paperwork for new registrations from abroad.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"background-color: #ffffff;\" title=\"Er zijn echter al wel 2 nieuwe regels ingevoerd om de controle van het papierwerk te vergemakkelijken.\" onmouseover=\"this.style.backgroundColor='#ebeff9'\" onmouseout=\"this.style.backgroundColor='#fff'\">There are already 2 new rules introduced to control the paperwork easier.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"background-color: #ffffff;\" title=\"1) Bedrijven in China mogen enkel nog een .cn naam registreren via een registrar gevestigd in China\" onmouseover=\"this.style.backgroundColor='#ebeff9'\" onmouseout=\"this.style.backgroundColor='#fff'\">1) Companies in China may only register their .cn domain names via a registrar based in China.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"background-color: #ffffff;\" title=\"2) Als een buitenlandse firma een .cn wenst te registreren, moet deze registratie vergezeld zijn van een Chinees of Engelstalig uittreksel van het Ondernemingsloket\/Kamer van Koophandel.\" onmouseover=\"this.style.backgroundColor='#ebeff9'\" onmouseout=\"this.style.backgroundColor='#fff'\">2) If a foreign firm widh to register a .cn name, such registration must be accompanied by a Chinese or English copy of an extract for the Chamber of Commerce. <\/span><span style=\"background-color: #ffffff;\" title=\"Als dit uittreksel niet kan worden afgeleverd in het Chinees of het Engels door de bevoegde instantie moet het door een be\u00ebedigd vertaler vertaald worden.\" onmouseover=\"this.style.backgroundColor='#ebeff9'\" onmouseout=\"this.style.backgroundColor='#fff'\">If this extract can not be delivered in Chinese or English by the competent authority, it must be translated by a sworn translator. <\/span><span id=\"result_box\" class=\"long_text\"><span style=\"background-color: #ffffff;\" title=\"Verschillende landen (waar onder Belgi\u00eb) geven geen originele Engelstalige uittreksels.\">Several countries (including Belgium) don&#8217;t give an original English extract.
