Until recently, only third level .tr domain names could be registered (including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bnamed.net\/en\/extensies\/Turkey?\">.com.tr<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bnamed.net\/en\/extensies\/Turkey?\">.biz.tr<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bnamed.net\/en\/extensies\/Turkey?\">.net.tr<\/a>,&#8230;) but from now on it is also possible to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bnamed.net\/en\/extensies\/Turkey?\">register a .tr domain name<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Owners of a third level .tr domain name will be given priority to register a .tr domain name until May 14, 2024. They must meet a number of conditions for this:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Their third level .tr name must be registered before August 25th 2023<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The .tr name they request must be exactly the same as their third level .tr name<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The .tr name must be requested with the same owner details as the third level .tr name<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The Turkish registry processes all requests for .tr names that they receive until May 14, 2024 and requires a processing time of approximately 1 month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From mid-June 2024, anyone who wishes can register a .tr domain name on the basis of the first come, first served principle.
