This extension grew to the fifth largest worldwide after .cn, .de, .uk and .nl.<\/p>\n<p>Remarkable is that the pace with which the extension grows, decreases. A year and a half ago, there were already 2 million .eu names registered. Now, 1,5 years later, another million have been registered. A possible declaration might be that lots of people already have registered a .eu name.
